Abstract

The Biomania Student Scientific Meeting 2022 took place on the 28th and 29th of April 2022 in Brno. The two-day conference was dedicated to students from Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral programmes working on topics thematically related to Biotechnology and Biomedicine. Six oral sessions and a poster session covered various aspects of Recombinant Proteins and Structural Biology, Emerging Biotechnologies, Red Biotechnology, Molecular Oncology and Genomics, Disease Models and Developmental Biology, and Emerging Targets in Non-Cancerous Diseases. The conference book contains 77 abstracts divided into the respective sessions including the invited keynote lectures of Prof. Edward A. Bayer, Dr. Jose Jiménez, Dr. Lucília Saraiva, and Prof. Igor Adameyko.

Studentská vědecká konference The Biomania Student Scientific Meeting 2022 se konala 28. a 29. dubna 2022 v Brně. Dvoudenní konference byla věnována studentům bakalářských, magisterských a doktorských studijních programů, kteří se ve svém výzkumu věnují tématům, jež se vztahují k biotechnologiím a biomedicíně. V rámci šesti přednáškových a jedné posterové sekce byly prezentovány příspěvky pokrývající různé aspekty rekombinantních proteinů a strukturní biologie, nových biotechnologických přístupů, červené biotechnologie, molekulární onkologie a genomiky, modelů onemocnění a vývojové biologie a nových cílů u nenádorových onemocnění. Sborník obsahuje 77 abstraktů rozdělených do příslušných tematických sekcí a zahrnuje také abstrakta úvodních přednášek zvaných vědců: prof. Edward A. Bayer, Dr. Jose Jiménez, Dr. Lucília Saraiva a prof. Igor Adameyko.
