Abstract

Sbírky starověkých uměleckých a užitkových předmětů v českých zemích nebyly dosud souhrnně představeny, antické předměty a artefakty z mobiliárních fondů státních hradů a zámků byly dosud zpravidla zmiňovány jen okrajově, či zcela opomíjeny. Důvodem je především územní roztříštěnost fondů a jejich obtížná přístupnost, ale i skutečnost, že v rámci poválečných konfiskačních procesů byly tyto kolekce často ochuzeny o nejkvalitnější díla. Příspěvek shrnuje dosavadní výsledky aktuálně probíhajícího výzkumu věnovaného zámeckým mobiliárním fondům ve správě Národního památkového ústavu.

Abstract (in English)

Collections of ancient art and utility objects in the Czech lands were not presented in a comprehensive way so far, ancient objects and artefacts from mobile collections state castles and chateaux have been mentioned only marginally or completely neglected. This is mainly due to the territorial fragmentation of the collections and their difficult accessibility, but also the fact that, as part of the post-war confiscation processes, these collections were often deprived of the best quality works. The paper summarizes the results so far of the ongoing research on castle furniture collections in the National Heritage Institute.
