Abstract

Příspěvek se věnovat propojení současné situace ohledně umělé inteligence a nástrojů, které ji využívají s prostředím akademického knihovnictví v terciálním vzdělávání. Byly zmapovány oblasti, které vývoj AI v akademickém knihovnictví zasahuje ve službách, informačním vzdělávání, podpoře vědy a výzkumu a ve věci Open Science jako oblasti, které se v tomto prostoru věnují jako metodici především zaměstnanci fakultních knihoven. Příspěvek pojmenoval výzvy a rizika, které ze současného kontextu vývoje a výzkumu AI ve společnosti přicházejí a prezentoval otázky, které si akademické knihovnictví a univerzity musí položit pro rozvoj kompetencí nutných pro 21. století a konkurenceshopnost.

Abstract (in English)

This presentation is concerned with linking the current situation regarding artificial intelligence and the tools that use it with the tertiary academic librarianship environment. The areas in which AI development in academic librarianship affects services, information literacy education, and support for science and research. Open Science has also been mapped as an area mainly addressed by methodologists who are staff of faculty libraries. The presentation named the challenges and risks arising from the current context of AI development and societal research. It also presented the questions that academic librarianship and universities must ask themselves to develop the competencies necessary for the 21st century and competitiveness.
