Abstract

Pro terapii chronické lymfocytární leukemie (CLL) bylo v posledních desetiletích schváleno několik nových léčiv, která s sebou přinesla významné zlepšení léčebných výsledků. Léčba těmito novými látkami by optimálně měla být nabídnuta všem pacientům s CLL. Při rozhodování o výběru konkrétní molekuly je vhodné zohlednit faktory, mezi něž patří linie léčby, věk a komorbidity pacienta, prognostické a prediktivní faktory, nežádoucí účinky terapie a preference pacienta. Cílem je individuálně zvolit takový lék, který bude pro daného pacienta nejvhodnější z hlediska účinnosti i bezpečnosti.

Abstract (in English)

In recent decades, several new drugs have been approved, which have brought significant improvements in treatment outcomes. Treatment with these new agents should optimally be offered to all patients with CLL. Factors such as line of treatment, patient age and comorbidities, prognostic and predictive factors, adverse effects of therapy, and patient preferences should be considered when deciding on the choice of a particular molecule. The goal is to individually choose the drug that will be most suitable for the given patient in terms of effectiveness and safety.
