Abstract

Rusismy do češtiny pronikaly v průběhu historie s různou intenzitou a plnily různé funkce. Pomineme-li však několik desítek ustálených přejímek, je patrné, že mají tendenci mizet z aktivní slovní zásoby. I přesto (nebo možná právě proto), že často dochází také k jejich přesunu na jazykovou periferii, sahají po nich čeští politici a komentátoři politického dění. Ti je velice kreativně využívají jako satirické až hanlivé reference. Je však víc než pravděpodobné, že společně s postupným odcházením této generace z aktivního politického života, opustí i tyto rusismy nadobro naše novinové titulky.

Abstract (in English)

In the course of history, Russian words have entered the Czech language with varying intensity and have fulfilled different functions. However, apart from a few dozen established adoptions, they have tended to disappear from the active vocabulary. Despite (or perhaps because of) the fact that they are often relegated to the linguistic periphery, Czech politicians and political commentators reach for them. They use them very creatively as satirical or even derogatory references. It is more than likely, however, that with the gradual retirement of this generation from active political life, these russicisms will disappear from our headlines for good.
