Or, le questionnement sur ce qui se passe à l’oral, qui est marginalement observable dans ces corpus web, reste à l’écart des recherches en néologie moderne. Nous proposons de croiser les méthodes de recueil des données (exploitation des corpus disponibles avec questionnaires auprès d’étudiants et d’autres âges de la population) afin de montrer la complémentarité des méthodes et de circonscrire la circulation des emprunts composés de l’élément binge- (p.ex. binge-drinking, binge-watching, binge-eating, etc.) en dehors de la terminologie des spécialistes des pathologies sociétales pour savoir quel impact ont ces comportements compulsifs dans les populations les plus concernées. L’hypothèse principale est que les Polonais, les Tchèques et les Français apprécient l’économie et l’expressivité de l’emprunt à l’anglais au détriment de l’usage des équivalents sémantiques autochtones. Un questionnaire au contenu identique dans les trois langues a été utilisé pour évaluer cette hypothèse. ER -
