Abstract

Tradícia nemusí byť nevyhnutne zlá, ak nie je rigidne a fanaticky vymáhaná proti vôli iných. Rovnako je to aj so zánikmi – o tých si navyše často myslíme, že prebiehajú práve tu a práve teraz, hoci skôr to bude tak, že nám chýba patričný odstup umožňujúci nám vidieť, čo sa deje naozaj. Text o tradícii, minulosti, zániku a o zmene.

Abstract (in Czech)

Tradice nemusí být nutně zlá, zvlášť když není rigidně a fanaticky vymáhána proti vůli jiných. A totéž platí i pro zániky - o těch si navíc často myslíme, že probíhají právě tady a právě teď, i když to nejspíš bude tak, že nám chybí patřičný odstup umožňující nám vidět, co se v skutečnosti děje. Text o tradici, minulosti, zániku a o změně.

Abstract (in English)

Tradition is not necessarily bad if it is not rigidly and fanatically enforced against the will of others. It is the same with extinctions - which, moreover, we often think of as taking place right here and right now, when it is more likely to be the case that we lack the proper distance to allow us to see what is really going on. A text about tradition, the past, extinction and change.
