Abstract
The paper focuses on the resilience of social workers. It aims to highlight strategies for increasing resilience in social workers in their daily practice to enable them to cope with the pressures of their demanding role. The current turbulent times, particularly in relation to the management of the Covid-19 pandemic and working with war refugees from Ukraine, are testament to this demanding nature. Resilience itself is defined as a concept that refers to the dynamic multi-level process of adaptation and achieving the desired level of well-being of a social worker despite experiencing distinct difficulties in managing their professional role. Within this conception, resilience is not seen as a static personality characteristic, but as a concept that has a changing, situational character over time.
