Abstract

Studie obsahuje diskusi o metodologických východiscích analýzy efektivnosti a racionality politického procesu směřujícího k sociálně ekonomickému rozvoji české společnosti. Autor diskutuje přednosti a možnosti racionalistických a institucionalistických východisek. Dospívá k závěru, že racionalita politického procesu je vždy determinována sociálním a kulturním kontextem, který určuje také míru uplatnění jednotlivých metodologických východisek.

Abstract (in English)

This article examines some basic assumtions about the nature of political institutions and policy process, the ways in which practices and rules that comprise institutions are established, sustained and transformed, and the ways in which those practices and rules are converted into political behavior through the mediation of interpretation and capability.
