Abstract

V originále

The report is devoted to the protection of vulnerable people in the light of the international instruments and the Civil Code. The Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (“CRPD”) was signed by the Czech Republic on 30 March 2007. The Convention on the International Protection of Adults (“The Hague Convention”) was signed on behalf of the Czech Republic on 1 April 2009. Regarding the Recommendation CM/Rec (2009)11 on Principles concerning continuing powers of attorney and advance directives for incapacity of the Council of Europe, it was taken into account in relation to the above-mentioned international conventions in the preparation of the Civil Code.
