Abstract
Lung cancer is one of the most frequent cancers (11.6% of all cancer cases) and the largest cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide, attributing 18.4% of all deaths due to malignancy. Modern-era precision oncology requires adequate tissue sampling for proper morphological and molecular diagnosis or even for broader molecular genetic testing.
