Abstract
Abstract (in English)
The aim of the paper is to point out the ambivalent relationship of a prominent figure of early modern medicine, Thomas Jordan of Klausenburg (1539-1586), to Brno where he worked for a large part of his life, as it appears in his work Brunnogallicus seu Luis novae in Moravia exortae descriptio.
