Abstract
Wildfires and flooding have affected island and continental regions of Greece in the summer of 2023. The destruction of critical supplies along with the loss of productive and housing infrastructure compounded by damage to healthcare facilities constitute an imminent health, social, and environmental crisis with long term consequences.
