Abstract

V originále

In my presentation under the title "Literary approaches on Greek Civil War Refugees; memory, representation and political ideology" I focus on the literary texts that were written by the political refugees, as well as the texts that were written about them, during the socialist regimes (1945-1990).The political refugees’ literary production is indeed of great interest, as, in their texts, the experience of the Greek civil war meets everyday life in the communist regimes. Moreover, such texts can be used as tools in an attempt to analyze aspects of the refugees’ identity, as well as their personal ideology and the -practical or imaginary- relationship with homeland.
