Abstract
Molecule [Zn2(THF)2(EtZn)6Zn4(m4-O)(tBuPO3)8] (1) contains structural features closely related to the motifs found in layered and three-dimensional zincophosphates and phosphonates. Several reactive centers can make 1 a viable precursor for the synthesis of porous zincophosphonate materials.
