The paper analyses the bill that plans to establish a Defender of Children’s Rights in the Czech Republic. The institution shall be a variant of the Defender of Rights and its task shall be defending human rights and maintaining good administration. The first part briefly describes the current legislation, the second one presents the draft and. The third and final part contains possible risks and benefits of the intended legislation.
