Abstract

Eurasijství jako jedno z nejvýraznějších ideových hnutí ruské meziválečné emigrace podstoupilo v posledních sto letech zásadní transformaci a zejména od první poloviny 90. let pravidelně rezonuje v širokém kontextu ruského intelektuálního myšlení. V rámci akademického výzkumu se v průběhu posledních 30 let pozornost badatelů soustředila na dva hlavní okruhy: výzkum meziválečného Eurasijství 20 a 30. let 20. století a výzkum neo-Eurasijtví 90. let 20. století. Ačkoliv bádání obou skupin přineslo řadu nových zjištění, vně zorného pole většiny akademiků zůstal relativně dlouhý časový úsek mezi lety 1945 až 1991, kdy oficiální působnost meziválečných Eurasijsců již zanikla, ale někteří přední představitele hnutí zůstali aktivní a pokračovali v propagaci a re-kontextualizaci jeho dílčích koncepcí. Daný příspěvek si klade za cíl představení výzkumu archivní materiálů týkajících se geografa P. N. Savického a historika G. V. Vernadského (dvou představitelů meziválečného Eurasijského hnutí) a jejich kontaktu s etnologem a historikem L. N. Gumiljovem a dalšími sovětskými intelektuály v přechodném období Studené války.

Abstract (in English)

Eurasianism, as one of the most prominent ideological movements of the Russian interwar emigration, has undergone a fundamental transformation in the last hundred years and, especially since the first half of the 1990s, has regularly resonated in the broader context of Russian intellectual thought. Within academic research over the past 30 years, scholarly attention has focused on two main areas: research on interwar Eurasianism of the 1920s and 1930s and research on neo-Eurasianism of the 1990s. Although the research of both groups has produced a number of new findings, the relatively long period between 1945 and 1991, when the official activity of interwar Eurasianists had disappeared, has remained outside the academic interest. Still, some of the movement's leading figures have remained active and continued to promote and re-contextualize its sub-concepts. The present paper aims to present research on archival materials related to geographer P. N. Savitsky and historian G. V. Vernadsky (two representatives of the interwar Eurasian movement) and their contact with ethnologist and historian L. N. Gumilev and other Soviet intellectuals during the transitional period of the Cold War.
