Abstract

Otázka „malých národů“ byla v Evropě nejostřejší na začátku 20. století. První světová válka, občanská válka v Rusku, transformace vědomí a krize uvnitř monarchií, vyvíjeli na novou úroveň mezinárodní pohled evropských národů a předurčili rozpad monarchií. To mělo za následek zřízení nových států a republik. Ve svém příspěvku, bych chtěla nastínit několik století utlačovaný boj o zachování identity baškirského národa a postupně baškirského národního hnutí za samostatnost republiky v rámci území Ruska. Příspěvek se bude zabývat národním hnutím od carského Ruska k událostem vzniku baškirské republiky, a zaměří se na komparace a spolupráci s „malými národy“ ke vzniku nových republik na Evropském kontinentu.

Abstract (in English)

The issue of „small nations“ in Europe was the most acute in the beginning of the 20th century. The First World War, the civil war in Russia, the transformation of consciousness, and the crisis within the monarchies, developed to a new level the international perspective of the European nations and determined the disintegration of the monarchies. The result was the establishment of new states and republics. In my paper would be observed several centuries of oppressed struggle aiming to save the identity of the Bashkir nation and step by step the Bashkir national movement for the independence of the republic within the territory of Russia. The paper will discuse the national movement from Tsarist Russia to the events of the establishment of the Bashkir Republic, and focus on comparisons and cooperation with „small nation“ to the establishment of new republics on the European continent.
