Abstract
The paper deals with the question of how the medieval Brno City Council, which drew up legal instructions for South Moravian towns and villages, approached questions about the further course of action in disputes in which the parties initially agreed on their alternative solution before an arbitrator, but one of them breached the agreement and filed a lawsuit in the municipal court.
