Abstract
The lecture summarizes the research activities of Klára Šeďová's team, which are focused on how students' participation patterns are formed and how these patterns can be positively influenced. In other words, What is behind the fact that some students speak up in class and others do not? Can a teacher help silent students to engage productively in classroom dialogue? Can their learning outcomes be improved in this way?
