Abstract

Od ledna 2024 bude v ČR zaveden plošný program časného záchytu karcinomu prostaty. Do programu je zapojeno několik odborných společností a důraz je kladen na mezioborovou spolupráci. Muže budou oslovovat praktičtí lékaři a také urologové, kteří jej mají v specializované péči. Cílem kurzu je informovat o vstupních kritériích pro oslovení, prodiskutovat algoritmus programu, jeho monitoring a správné vykazování nových screeningových výkonů. Zásadní částí workshopu bude defi nice role urologa v jednotlivých diagnostických a terapeutických krocích, zejména část, která bude probíhat v urologických ambulancích. To se týká zejména hodnocení PSA a jeho frakcí, stratifi kace pacientů podle rizika a odesílání k vyšetření magnetickou rezonancí. Velký důraz bude zaměřen na následné hodnocení výsledků magnetické rezonance a výběru pacientů určených k biopsii prostaty.

Abstract (in English)

From January 2024, a universal early detection programme for prostate cancer will be introduced in the Czech Republic. The programme involves several professional societies and the emphasis is on interdisciplinary cooperation. Men will be approached by general practitioners as well as urologists, who have him under their specialist care. The aim of the course is to inform about the entry criteria for approaching, discuss the algorithm the programme, its monitoring and the correct reporting of new screening procedures. A crucial part of the workshop will be the definition of the role of of the urologist in the various diagnostic and therapeutic steps, especially the part that will take place in urology outpatient clinics. This will include the assessment of PSA and its fractions, risk stratification of patients and referral for MRI. A great deal of emphasis will be placed on the subsequent evaluation of MRI results and the selection of patients for prostate biopsy.
