Abstract

Jedná se o malou dlouhodobou výstavu v Pavilonu Anthropos V Brně při Moravském zemském muzeu uspořádanou ku příležitosti padesátiletého jubilea amatérského archeologa Martina Horáka. Na vernisáži výstavy vystoupil doc. Martin Oliva z MZM přednáškou o slavných amatérských archeolozích. Výstava seznamuje návštěvníky nejen s nálezy z období středního paleolitu, ale hlavně s postupy amatérských archeologů od nálezu, přes omytí a evidenci nálezů až po odborné určení a publikaci nálezů.

Abstract (in English)

This is a small long-term exhibition in the Anthropos Pavilion in Brno, department of Moravské zemské muzeum (Moravian Regional Museum) organized on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the amateur archaeologist Martin Horák. The exhibition was opened by doc. Martin Oliva from MZM with a lecture on famous amateur archaeologists in Moravia. The exhibition acquaints visitors not only with findings from the Middle Paleolithic period, but mainly with the procedures of amateur archaeologists: from the discovery, through washing and recording of the findings to the professional identification and publication of the findings.
