Abstract

Pojem "estetické inteligence" jako specifické dispozice vychází ze současných výzkumů o "visual intelligence" (D.D.Hoffman), "cognitive metaphors" (D.Hoffstadter) a výzkumu vlivu umění na rozvoj fantazie a tvorby (chápané jako "modelování", nikoli jako volná kreativita). Tato dispozice není vrozená, ale nabytá dlouhodobým učením a participací na vzorcích (patterns) porozumění v rámci kultury a společnosti; estetická inteligence zdaleka překračuje běžné pojetí "soft-skills", které ji však v určité míře předpokládají (například vizualice vědeckých informací, extrapolace, transfer, atd.). Vedle těchto současných výzev má projekt i diachronně historickou složku - zkoumání historické poetiky, estetiky a rétoriky s přihlédnutím k evropské umělecké, pedagogické a kulturní tradici.

Abstract (in English)

The concept of "aesthetic intelligence" as a specific disposition draws on contemporary research into "visual intelligence" (D.D. Hoffman), cognitive metaphors (D. Hoffstadter), and the impact of art-training in the developement of phantasy and creativity in children and in adults. The disposition is not innate or given, in must be acquired by a long-term repetition and training in participation on culture and its cognitive and evaluative patterns and processes. Conference is partly dedicated to broad discussion of the themes and topics brought by doctoral students.
