Abstract

The ‚School is Dancing‘ project is based on the premise that using the moving body as a tool for learning can enhance creativity, imagination and cognitive skills. It seeks to foster a deeper understanding of academic topics including math, physics, grammar, art and history and addresses current challenges in primary education in the Czech Republic by providing an innovative approach to learning that can benefit both students and teachers. The aim of this project is to enable students to develop their creativity and critical thinking skills through movement-based learning. The project takes the form of case studies in three primary schools in different cities across the country.

Projekt Škola tančí vychází z předpokladu, že využití pohyblivého těla jako nástroje pro učení může posílit kreativitu, představivost a kognitivní schopnosti. Snaží se podpořit hlubší porozumění akademickým tématům, včetně matematiky, fyziky, gramatiky, umění a historie, a reaguje na současné problémy v základním vzdělávání v České republice tím, že poskytuje inovativní přístup k učení, který může být přínosem jak pro žáky, tak pro učitele. Cílem tohoto projektu je umožnit žákům rozvíjet jejich kreativitu a schopnost kritického myšlení prostřednictvím učení založeného na pohybu. Projekt probíhá formou případových studií na třech základních školách v různých městech po celé zemi.
