The A.D.A.P.T. database contains descriptive body data of a sample of the Czech population. The data take the form of 3D scans of body surface in standardized positions, detailed facial scans, three-dimensional body surface models, subcutaneous fat layers from magnetic resonance imaging, and pre-measured anthropometric data. For each type of data, the recording method, quality, limitations of included data, and factors that may influence their use for the purpose of creating personal protective equipment are described.
