Abstract

Příspěvek se věnuje možnostem využití nástrojů umělé inteligence (AI) ve výzkumu jazykových věd, konkrétně na využití velkých jazykových modelů (LLM). V teoretické části jsou po popisu LLM také představeny postoje a doporučení Masarykovy univerzity k užívání AI. V praktické části je ukázán příklad využití AI nástroje Microsoft Copilot pro generování a komparaci české a polské sportovní terminologie včetně ukázky, že může docházet k nepřesnostem a zkreslením ve výstupu AI.

Abstract (in English)

The paper focuses on the possibilities of using artificial intelligence (AI) tools in language science research, specifically on the use of large language models (LLM). In the theoretical part, after a description of LLM, the position and recommendations of Masaryk University towards the use of AI are also presented. In the practical part, an example of the use of the Microsoft Copilot AI tool for the generation and comparison of Czech and Polish sports terminology is shown, including a demonstration that there may be inaccuracies and distortions in the AI output.
