Abstract
The importance of family planning to individuals is clear (i.e, allowing women and children to be healthier). However, the global benefit of family planning is seldom considered. This presentation elucidates the importance of family planning to the environment, because voluntary family planning has slowed countries's population growth, thus, contributed to smaller destruction of the planet. For this reason, this unambiguous, evidence-based connection between family planning and preserving our only home should be recognised.
