Abstract

V originále

The aim of this lecture was to explain the literary negotiations of the historical developments that occured in the broader Balkan area during the 19th and 20th century. More in detail, I focused on how the collapsing Ottoman Empire, the Balkan Wars, the Cold War and the socialist Balkans, as well as the Balkan revolutionary movements of the 1990s shaped the Greek -as well as the European- literary attitudes towards the Balkan nations.
