Abstract
A remarkable find assemblage from a site in Central Bohemia was presented at the Keltové conference in 2018. The site remained under archaeological control in the following years and in summer 2023 and spring 2024 it was subject to non-destructive exploration carried out by the Institute of Classical Archaeology, Charles University Prague, the Institute of Archaeology and Museology, Masaryk University in Brno, and the Institute of Archaeology of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague. The combined geophysical survey, field-walking, and metal detector survey enabled us to define the site’s (noteworthy) surface area, the density and organisation of underground structures, and established a (fortunately relatively low) degree of threat by clandestine detectorists. We are going to present the results of these first (and hopefully not last) surveys at the site ... and to tell you what it’s called and where it is.
