The aim of the paper is to investigate how and to what extent a selected set of characteristics of fictitious jobseekers influences the decision-making of line workers of the Labour Office in one of the regions of the Czech Republic. The study is based on a survey of the population of Labour Office line workers involved in placement and counselling. A factorial survey experiment (FSE) was chosen to investigate the influence of selected characteristics on the decision-making of line workers, which also allows the identification of causal relationships between variables.
