Abstract

Příspěvek se zaměřil na specifické médium textů církevních autorit (katolických i nekatolických) 16. a 17. století a pokusí se jejich reflexi nastavit vůči textům architektonické teorie (zejm. architektů) téhož období. Naznačil průniky, ale i odlišnosti (či mimoběžnosti), který tento důležitý církevní diskurz debaty o sakrální architektuře a její interpretaci přinášel.

Abstract (in English)

The paper focuses on the specific medium of texts of ecclesiastical authorities (both Catholic and non-Catholic) of the 16th and 17th centuries and attempts to set their reflection in relation to texts of architectural theory (especially of architects) of the same period. It will indicate the intersections, but also the differences (or outliers), that this important ecclesiastical discourse brought to the debate on sacred architecture and its interpretation.
