Abstract
The aim of the paper was to compare the work of a lawyer in the USA with the work of a European lawyer. The emphasis was on drawing implications for the teaching of law and legal skills. The process of working with court decisions was analyzed and approached, also taking into account the specifics in the field of European Union and constitutional law.
