Abstract

Výročí smrti Jana Santiniho Aichla (1677-1723) bylo provázeno výstavami, přednáškami, ale také úvahami nad jeho významem v dějinách architektury. Přednáška si nyní povšimne nejen jeho (většinou známého) architektonického díla, ale pokusí se ukázat též to, co je nového v oblasti uměleckohistorické interpretace. Představíme jeho práci s návrhy projektů, s architektonickým prostorem pro slavnosti i hudební produkci, ale též s tím, jak využíval světla a stín jako architektonických prostředků.

Abstract (in English)

The anniversary of the death of Jan Santini Aichl (1677-1723) was accompanied by exhibitions, lectures, but also reflections on his importance in the history of architecture. The lecture will not only notice his (mostly well-known) architectural work, but will also try to show what is new in the field of art-historical interpretation. We will present his work with project proposals, with architectural space for celebrations and music production, but also with how he used light and shadow as architectural means.
