Abstract
This presentation examines the dynamics of pedagogically productive talk within teacher collaborative discourse. The research highlights key elements of effective discourse, such as grounding in rich representations of practice, inclusion of multiple perspectives, and balancing support with critique. Through a detailed intervention program, the study demonstrates that changes in teacher talk moves can significantly improve the quality of classroom dialogue and equalize student participation.
