Abstract

In English

Ugo Fosolo’s Inni alle Grazie is a “work in progress” whose different editorial stages proves distinct authorial intentions. In my paper I examine the fragments belonging to the stages entitled Primi esperimenti and Stesure del Carme tripartito according to the Edizione Nazionale (1985), and in comparison with the fragments of the previous and the subsequent editorial stages of Inni alle Grazie. The analysis shed lights on the constants and the variants of the Foscolo’s first attempts to write from the one hymn to the three hymns, and it focuses on the specific progression of the mythopoiea at this stage of the creative process of Inni alle Grazie.
