Abstract
The presentation deals with the description of Vietnamese syntax in Linguae annamiticae seu Tunchinensis brevis declaratio, a part of the Vietnamese-Portuguese-Latin dictionary of the Jesuit Alexander de Rhodes, and highlights the way of describing Vietnamese in the context of the contemporary concept of syntax.

Prezentace se zabývá popisem vietnamské syntaxe ve spisu Linguae annamiticae seu Tunchinensis brevis declaratio, který tvoří součást vietnamsko-portugalsko-latinského slovíku jezuity Alexandra de Rhodese, a poukazuje na způsob popisu vietnamštiny v kontextu dobového pojetí syntaxe.
