Kapitola se věnuje proměnám politické správy, válkám o rakouské dědictví a politické kultuře na Moravě a v Brně v první polovině 18. století. Ukazuje tuto periodu jako přelomovou nejenom z hlediska politicko-správního, ale též kulturního.

The chapter focuses on the changes in political administration, the Wars of the Austrian Succession and political culture in Moravia and Brno in the first half of the 18th century. It shows this period as a turning point not only from the political-administrative point of view, but also from the cultural point of view.
