Digital transformation of the public sector is now an essential part of contemporary governance, driven by changes in society, technological advancements, and the evolving expectations of citizens. This book has explored diverse case studies from Central and Eastern European countries, offering clues on how national and local governments are navigating this complex process. The lessons that can be drawn from these case studies can help paint a more complete picture of the ways in which institutions deal with technology-driven change and can serve as useful pointers to what works and what does not in different contexts and at different administrative levels.
