Abstract
Der Aufsatz sucht mit der Hilfe der internationalen Beziehungen zwischen sog. germanischen barbarischen Staaten und u. a. mittels der Heirat von Theoderich der Große und fränkische prinzessin Audofleda die genauere Datierung des Taufes von Chlodwig zu finden.

The study attemps to put more precisely the dating of conversion of the king Chlodwig.
