Abstract

Einer der wenigen Orte, an denen glaubwürdige Belege zur Gestalt der frühmittelalterlichen Religion gewonnen wurden, ist Pohansko bei Břeclav und seine Umgebung. Besonders wert- voll ist die Erfahrung, daß man hier Äußerungen des geistigen Lebens unserer Vorfahren über eine lange Zeitspanne verfolgen kann.

Abstract (in English)

One of the few places from which reliable evidence of the shape of Early Medieval religions has come is Pohansko (lit. "place of the pagans") near Břeclav, and its environs. Of particular value is the fact that here it is possible to study the manifestations of the spiritual life of our forebears over a long stretch of time.
