Abstract
The hydrogen peroxide generation was detected at electronmicroscopic level in cumulus oophorus 2h after insemination. Spermatozoa of both normal and abnormal morphology produced excessive amounts of hydrogen peroxide. An additional source of this metabolite represent damaged cumulus cells.
