Abstract
Cumulus cells responsible for hydrogen peroxide generation were identified in the mouse cumulus-oocyte complexes. Two sites of hydrogen peroxide production were detected: cell membrane and mitochondria. The hydrogen peroxide production was associated with morphological signs of degeneration.
