Abstract
Cadmium is toxic for human reproduction, by the mechanism of its deleterious effects on gametocytes. In the study of infertile couples treated by the IVF methods, the higher levels of cadmium were found in the seminal plasma and follicular fluid and worse quality of women and men gametocytes.
