Abstract
Adsorption of nucleic acid base, nucleosides and polynucleotides at the mercury electrode was studied. Nucleic acid bases and nucleosides form a self-assembled compact layers at the mercury surface by two-dimensional condensation. This properties can be used by the construction of DNA biosensors.
