TY - JOUR ID - 380532 AU - Krticka, Antonin - Honzíková, Nataša PY - 2001 TI - Wavelet transform and continuous baroreflex determination. PB - FER, CROMBES, University of Zagreb CY - Pula, Croatia SN - 9531840237 KW - baroreflex sensitivity KW - blood pressure variability KW - heart rate variability KW - wavelet transform N2 - Changes of systolic blood pressure cause changes of inter-beat intervals beat-to-beat by baroreflex. The sensitivity of this heart response is usually quantified as baroreflex sensitivity in ms/mmHg. Two techniques based on wavelet transform are proposed. The first one is based on continuous wavelet transform (CWT) and is similar to the alpha technique. The second is based on the fast wavelet transform (FWT) and uses approximation and detail coefficients of signal FWT as filtered signals. This method has some similarities with so-called modified complex demodulation technique. ER -
