Abstract
TeX is widely used for formatting database output [Neu91, LJ91,Myh90]. The batch processing is the area in which TeX is superior. In this paper we discuss our experience with using (La)TeX as a formatter of lexicographical database output. We describe and discuss TeX's usage on an example of producing and generating a dictionary [Min91] from the terminological data bank (TDB) of the National Library in Prague.
