The former and current smoking habits of 159 patients treated for infertility were observed. In this study, the negative influence of smoking on the outcome of treatment by IVF/ET technique was proved. The smoking cessation should be an integral part of human infertility treatment.

In Czech

Byl sledován vývoj léčby neplodnosti metodami IVF u 159 pacientek. Studie potvrdila negativní vliv kouření na tuto léčbu. Zanechání kouření by mělo být nedílnou součástí léčby neplodnosti metodami umělého oplodnění.
