Abstract
Several conflicts took place already before the battle. Hunderts of soldiers were wounded in these conflicts. russian soldiers who were exhausted from a march succumbed to various diseases in our territory. It was necessary to establish several military hospitals for these wounded and diseased men. It was firstly large field hospital in Znojmo and Opava. Their number very increased abter the Battle of Austerlitz. They were not established only at places of beforehand destination but everywhere where it was needed.
