Abstract
Achillea distans Waldst. et Kit. ex Willd., found in the Bieszczady Mts (SE Poland), is confirmed as a native species of the Polish flora, and also several localities of this taxon in NE Slovakia and in the NW part of the Carpatho-Ukraine are reported. The plants from the Bieszczady Mts are briefly described and other records of the A. distans group from Poland are discussed. The hexaploid chromosome number 2n = 54 was recorded in Polish populations of A. distans.
