Abstract
Vyšší podíl buněk nádoru v S fázi ukazuje vysokou pravděpodobnost dosažení dlouhodobého a střednědobého přežití. Pacienti s nižším podílem buněk v S fázi a zároveň zvýšeným výskytem G2/M fáze jsou ohroženi rizikem progrese.
Abstract (in English)
60 patients with the pharynx and supraglottis carcinomas were involved in statistical evaluation of survival in relation to the TNM stage, grading, kinetic parameters of a cellular cycle, Ki-67 marker and the changes of DNA ploidity in association with chemotherapy. Impaired prognosis connected with grading 1 - 2 and improved prognosis in grading 3 - 4 is evident. The effects of ploidity and Ki-67 marker on survival were statistically insignificant. A higher share of the tumor cells in S-phase has shown great probability of reaching long-term or medium-term survival. Patients with a lower share of cells in S-phase and increased occurrence of G2/M phase are in the risk of progression.
